Aservo driver was a component that could be added toA-9 Vigilance interceptors through a modification kit. The servo driver system allowed thestarfighter's underslunglaser cannons to depress up to ninety degrees. With the weapons able to be orientated in this way, the A-9 was capable of performing strafing missions against ground forces.[1]
