Description[]
Selaggis VI was agas giant located within theSelaggis system[3] of theQuelii sector,[1] a part of theNew Territories portion of[2] theOuter Rim Territories.[1] It lay on thehyperlane known as theBraxant Run, which connected it to theBandomeer andVahaba systems.[2]
Selaggis VI was one of the sevenworlds thatorbited theyellowstarSelaggis. The planet was orbited by severalmoons, includingSelcaron, and was also circled by a heavydebrisring thought to have been another moon at onetime.[3]
Selaggis VI was a beautiful yellow-orangegas giant with anatmosphere characterized by constant storm activity. The storms unceasingly changed the planet's patterns of swirls and lines of color, so that each newday offered variations in the worldscape, making it an ever-changing work of art for thecolonists on Selcaron.[3]

Selaggis inStar Wars: Rebellion
Selaggis was introduced in the1994 novelThe Courtship of Princess Leia, written byDave Wolverton, which mentioned it as the location of acolony that wasobliterated by Warlord Zsinj'sSuper Star DestroyerIron Fist.[4]
Selaggis then appeared in the1998 PCvideo gameStar Wars: Rebellion, which described it as a planet with a "favorable climate that has attracted colonists."[5]
The1999 novelX-Wing: Solo Command, written byAaron Allston, later identified the planet as the gas giant Selaggis Six, andchanged the location of the colony to one of its moons, Selcaron.[3]
The2008 reference bookThe Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia finally identified the planet as Selaggis VI.[6]
