Arefugee was any individual who had been forced to leavehis or her home in order to escape war, persecution, or a natural disaster. Left to their own devices, such displaced populations sometimes riskedenslavement at the hands of unscrupulous individuals. During theClone Wars, a growing number ofsentients acrossthe galaxy found themselves in that situation, which promptedBail Organa ofAlderaan to organizea conference addressing the issue.[1]Pabu was a planet where many refugees from the war ended up.[2]The Magys's people were refugees who fled from theirworld,Sunrise.[3]
