Rankwin Fopow was thePrime Oligarch of theCadinth Oligarchy, speaker for theMid RimplanetCadinth[1] in22 BBY.[2] He, and therefore Cadinth, supported theGalactic Republic during[1] itsconflict with theConfederacy of Independent Systems.[3] After thedeath of the planet'sJedi Watchman,Bodis-Ker Vitan, during a pro-Separatistuprising in Cadinth'scapital, theOligarchy retracted its endorsement of the Republic. Fopow later withdrew all statements, instead declaring that the planet was "firmly undecided" between the two groups. His statement was included in an issue of theCoCo District Edition of theHoloNet News.[1]
