Publisher's summary[]
Although there were countless models and types of droids, protocol droids were always among the most popular because of their diversity of functions and, above all, because in a galaxy populated by a myriad of species, the ability to communicate was vital to any stellar journey. Medical droids were also very successful, thanks to their ability to restore almost any patient. And while they were neither as popular nor as sought after, service droids, like the waiters or butlers found in establishments throughout the galaxy, served a function that was as basic as it was necessary.[1]
