Port Haileap library

General information

ThePort Haileap library was alibrary in the outpostPort Haileap on theOuter RimplanetHaileap. It contained archives which included information on various groups ofForce users that had fewer rules than theJedi Order including theGuardians of Javin and theNightsisters.[1] By232 BBY,[2] theJediPadawanImri Cantaros studied the groups in the library while he was stationed at the outpost with hisJedi Master,MarshalDouglas Sunvale.[1]

Thatyear,[2] after mentally noting his envy towards theJedi KnightVernestra Rwoh for how special and different herlightsaber was after he discovered itslightwhip modification on the Outer RimjunglemoonWevo, Cantaros added that he knew that such an emotion was one of the doorways to thedark side of the Force. The Padawan then recalled his studies of the variousForce groups in the Port Haileap library.[1]

The Port Haileap library was mentioned in the2021 junior novelThe High Republic: A Test of Courage, written byJustina Ireland and published as part of theStar Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1]Phase I.[3]
