It has been thirty years since the defeat of theEmpire, but a new threat has arrived. General LeiaOrgana is leading the Resistance to keep the FirstOrder at bay.Leia has tasked star pilot Poe Dameron with findingLor San Tekka—an explorer who may know thelocation of Luke Skywalker. Poe has assembled ateam of pilots—Black Squadron—and together theyhave set off to the explorer's last knownwhereabouts: a planet whose residents worship andcare for a massive egg.Meanwhile, Poe's droid, BB-8, has discovered atracker on Poe's X-wing, a tracker Poe believes wasplaced there by the First Order. Poe's suspicions areproven correct when he discovers the enemy iscloser than anticipated....[2] |
Terex, along with severalstormtroopers, usesspeeder bikes andjetpacks to fly towards Dameron. Using explosives, they destroy the door guarding theCrèche and enter. Earlier,Phasma had ordered Terex to find Dameron and discover what intelligence theResistance had intercepted and how they were going to use it. The Crèche pretends they do not know who Dameron is, while Dameron, hiding nearby, orders the rest ofBlack Squadron to get him leverage.
Above ground,L'ulo fires on theFirst Order platform guarding the entrance to the caves, prompting theTIE fighters to chase him and starting a dogfight. All of the TIE fighters are destroyed, but part of the platform explodes, causing it to fall towards the surface and block the entrance to the cave. More TIE fighters fly out of theRavenousand attack the squadron.
After Terex threatens to attack theegg, Dameron reveals himself. Terex demands Dameron tell him the information immediately, while flametroopers attack the egg. The egg begins to hatch.
