History[]

Clone trooper armor consisted of a set of form-fitting plastoid plates worn over ablackbody glove.[2] The armor was vulnerable to directblaster fire. Plastoid was used in the construction of certainSeparatistdroids.Stormtrooper armor was made of a plastoid composite that was impervious to chemical warfare. Therefore, it featured an air filter in the helmet and a built inoxygen tank.[3]

Thearmor worn byDark Lord of the SithDarth Vader used plastoid. Vader's girdle was made from plastoid.[4] WhenLuke Skywalkerburned Vader'sarmor onEndor,[5] only the charred and twisted remains of the partially moltenhelmet,[6] were left behind.[5]
