Pirate alarm

Thepirate alarm was analarm system utilized on thesupertanker fuel depotColossus to warn of incomingpirate attacks. Its interface was made up ofgray and yellow paneling with several buttons, a red lever that activated the station's blast shields andklaxons, as well as a microphone covered by a red hatch that read "alarm" inAurebesh, which could be utilized to speak through the station'sintercom. The lever had an additional Aurebesh label under it that said "caution."^[1]

In34 ABY,^[2] the alarm was twice utilized to warn of attacks carried out by theWarbird gang.^[3][4] Later that same year,^[2] theResistancespyKazuda Xiono and Warbird spySynara San spotted a control panel for the alarm while attempting to warn the residents of theColossus of an imminentrokkna attack. Though briefly stalled by the station'ssecurity droids, San successfully pulled the alarm while Xiono spoke through its intercom to urge the platform's residents to safety. San also noted to herself that knowing the location of the alarm's interface was useful for the designs of the Warbird gang's plans.^[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The pirate alarm was first heard in "The Triple Dark,"^[3] the third episode ofStar Wars Resistance'sfirst season, which released onDisney Channel onOctober 14,2018.^[5] The alarm's physical interface made its first appearance in "Bibo,"^[1] the twelfth episode of the same season, which premiered on Disney Channel onJanuary 13,2019.^[5]
