TheOverliege, orUkian Overliege, was themonarch ofUkio. During the onset of theClone Wars, the title was held by anunidentified liege, who welcomedPadawanTyzen Xebec to theplanet. His rule came to an abrupt halt due to the turmoil caused by the conflict. As a result of thebattle of Ukio, he was ousted from his position as the planet decided to join theConfederacy of Independent Systems.

In22 BBY, the new Overliege wasTopas dosLa, who oversaw the transition of the planet as it seceded from theGalactic Republic. By5 ABY, the Overliege wasGol dosLa, but his sonTol dosLla served as his primary spokesman.

WhenImperialGrand AdmiralMitth'raw'nuruodo attacked Ukio in9 ABY,^[1][2] the Overliege surrendered the planet in the face of turbolaser fire that appeared to be capable of penetrating the planetary shields, although in fact it was an elaborate deception.^[3]
