Description[]

Oosalon^[7] was a barren,^[5] rockymountainousplanet^[4] located inthe galaxy'sOuter Rim Territories.^[1] The planet had anatmosphere breathable tooxygen-breathers, such ashumans. The planet was inhabited by anon-sentient creature named thetibidee.^[4]

History[]

In34 BBY,^[8]Jedi MasterMace Windu was captured by thewarlordGuattako'sarmy while searching for missing children that Guattako had kidnapped. After capturing Windu, they brokehislightsaber and were planning to broadcast Windu'sexecution across thegalaxy so theJedi's death could inspire many new converts into his cause. However, Windu was able to use the Force to reconstruct his lightsaber. When he met with Guattako, he fought with him until he was knocked out by his staff. When Guattako was going to kill Windu, a young child shot and killed Guattako. Windu and the missing children were then rescued.^[1]

Around33 BBY,^[9]Jango Fett captured the gamblerFissark Tozan in asecret gambling den on Oosalon in order to collect on the bounty on his head for owing theCrymorah Syndicate asabacc debt. After capturing his target, Jango dropped athermal detonator on the gambling den’s remaining patrons.^[6]

In3 BBY,^[10] tworebels—the JediKanan Jarrus and his Padawan,Ezra Bridger—scouted Oosalon as a potential location for a rebel base. Instead, they were confronted by twoImperialInquisitors, theSeventh Sister and theFifth Brother, and engaged them in alightsaber duel^[4] onOosalon Mesa^[5] before escaping on the back of a tibidee.^[4]

Oosalon first appeared unnamed in "Shroud of Darkness," the sixteenth episode of thecanon animated seriesStar Wars Rebelssecond season,^[4] which first aired onMarch 2,2016.^[11] It was later identified in the "Shroud of Darkness" episode guide trivia gallery, which confirmed that it was identified as Oosalon in the episodes script.^[7]
