Description[]
Located on the edge of[5]the galaxy'sMid Rim,[1] in grid square L-7 on theStandard Galactic Grid,[3] Numidian Prime was awarm and beautifuljungleplanet,[5] though it also hadswamp terrain.[7] The terrestrial planet had a breathableatmosphere[4] and was a comfortable environment for human habitation, which made it an exotic resort destination.[2] Apart from the dense plant life it also was inhabited by aspecies ofbirds.[4]
History[]
During theHigh Republic Era,Axel Greylark spent two days in a jungle on Numidian Prime before his mother,Kyong Greylark, transmitted a ransom for him.[10]
During thetime of theGalactic Republic, thebounty hunterShenda Mol had astronghold and several followers on Numidian Prime. TheJediDooku andQui-Gon Jinn, as part of astrike team, tracked her to the stronghold, apprehending both Mol and her followers andimprisoning her on the planetStygeon Prime.[7]

The card gamesabacc had a set of rules based on Numidian Prime, and thegamblerLando Calrissian once held a winning hand according to them.[1] Calrissian also won a disabler device playing a game of cards on Numidian Prime.[11]
Following amission undertaken by thecrew ofTobias Beckett for theCrimson Dawn crime syndicate, in which Calrissian had been hired for the use of hisstarship, theMillennium Falcon, the gamblerabandoned Beckett's gang onSavareen, visiting Numidian Prime. Two former members of Beckett's crew,Han Solo andChewbacca,[4] eventually made their way to the planet,[12] where Solo won theMillennium Falcon from Calrissian in a game of sabacc.[4]
Between3 ABY and4 ABY,[13] the JediLuke Skywalker traveled to Numidian Prime along with theastromech droidR2-D2 in search of atemple there. After being unable to find it, Skywalker encounteredDoctorChelli Aphra,[8] who captured Skywalker as a means to recruit the Jedi for a mission.[14]
Inhabitants[]
Criminals who were trying to avoid outstanding debts were known to hide on Numidian Prime.[5] TheFalleen bounty hunter Shenda Mol resided on the planet, and had a number of followers there.[7]
Locations[]
A well-hidden and securejungle outpost was located on the planet,[6] along with the stronghold of Shenda Mol, which was situated in a stony valley within Numidian Prime's jungles.[7]

Numidian Prime first appeared inSolo: A Star Wars Story, a2018 theatrical film part of theStar Wars Anthology Series.[4] The name "Numidian Prime" appeared for the first time in the reference bookSolo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide, written byPablo Hidalgo,[1] but it was not connected to the planet seen inSolo until the release of the novelization,Solo: A Star Wars Story: Expanded Edition, written byMur Lafferty,[6] along with thejunior novelization, written byJoe Schreiber,[15] and theDatabank entry onStarWars.com.[5]
