Nanny droid

Ananny droid,child care droid, orminder droid^[1] was adroid specifically built and programmed for the care of children. Many nanny droids were covered withsynthflesh, which mimicked the mother's scent and warmth. Also standard in nanny droid design was an internal reservoir that could holdmilk. Child care droids were one of the four primary classifications ofClass three droids.

Some nanny droids, such asNanna, were equipped with weaponry to defend their charges if the need should arise.
