Mumbri Storve

Mumbri Storve

General information

"Hello, Antilles. Nice to see you again."
"The feeling's mutual, I'm sure. Who is this?"
"Oh, come now. Have you forgotten already those wonderful times we spent together outside the Mumbri Storve cantina?"
"Aves?"
"Hey, very good. Your memory's getting better."
"You people are starting to be hard to forget. Where are you?"
"Right smack in the middle of that big blaze of Imperial lights off on your flank. I wish you'd told me you were hitting this place instead of Tangrene like we thought."
Aves andWedge Antilles during theBattle of Bilbringi[1]

TheMumbri Storve was a seedycantina situated on aplanet[1] located in theDona Laza sector of theExpansion Region.[2][3]

History[]

During theThrawn campaign of9 ABY, theNew Republic pilotsWedge Antilles,Derek Klivian andWes Janson went to the Mumbri Storve just prior to theBattle of Bilbringi. They spent anhour at thecantina in an attempt to drop a hint that theNew Republic would be attackingTangrene instead ofBilbringi. They were successful at first, as they were being followed by aWalrus-facedAqualishspy. However, they were intercepted on their way out byAves, a member ofTalon Karrde'ssmugglingorganization. Aves and two of his men then neutralized thefreelanceImperial spy by knocking him unconscious.[1]

Aves assured Antilles that the Aqualish freelancer would not be making any reports anytime soon for theImperial Intelligence. As a result, theirevening spent spreading disinformation seemed entirely wasted. In order to accomplish their objective anyway, Antilles dropped Aves a hint that the New Republic would be attacking Tangrene in twenty-eight hours, in the possibility that the smuggler would sell the information to the Empire. TheRogue Squadronpilots and the group of smugglers then parted ways, with Aves telling Antilles that any messages left with the nightbartender at theDona Lazatapcafe would reach him.[1]

Following the encounter, Aves and his men left the scene aboard alandspeeder, taking with them the still-unconscious Aqualish spy.[4]
