Plot summary[]
AsLuke Skywalker stands beside hisX-34 landspeeder on a plateau on his homeworld ofTatooine, the narrator tells the viewer that Skywalker is destined for something greater. As Skywalker gazes at thetwinsuns of Tatooine, he tells himself that he wants to learn the ways ofthe Force and become aJedi like hisfather.
The episode then zooms to Skywalker driving his landspeeder through a canyon. The video then zooms over toObi-Wan Kenobi showing Skywalker hislightsaber. As Luke ignites the blade, he is mesmerized by the power of the Force. Skywalker parries with his blade against a starry background.
