Luke Skywalker's T-16 skyhopper model was a toyT-16 skyhopper owned by thehumanmaleLuke Skywalker.[1] In9 BBY,[3] theJedi MasterObi-Wan Kenobi purchased the toy from theJawaTeeka after they had brought it to him in hiscave onTatooine. Kenobi left the toy outside of Lars Homestead, but Skywalker's uncle,Owen Lars, returned it to him the nextday and informed theJedi Master to stay away from hisfamily.[2] Sometime later, after[4]Reva Sevander,[5] a formerInquisitor of theGalactic Empireattacked the Lars in an attempt tokill Skywalker, Lars allowed Kenobi to meet Skywalker, and he gave the toy to theyoung boy.[4] Years later,Darth Vader visited the homestead andZED-6-7 held the toy skyhopper while inspecting the house.[6]

Luke Skywalker's toy T-16 skyhopper first appeared in the1977 filmStar Wars: Episode IVA New Hope, the first installment of theStar Warsoriginal trilogy.[8] During production of theStar Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi television series, the prop making team made a broken T-16 skyhopper toy prop that was used in the series. The original prop was researched and referenced to recreate the prop.[7]
