TheLepi was asentientspecies characterized by their lanky frame, longears, and buckteeth. One notable Lepi was thesmugglerJaxxon.

The Lepi were tall, lanky bipeds that were characterized by two longears that stood upright, prominent buckteeth, and thin whiskers that grew near theirmouths. They were covered infur that could begreen. Their upperlimbs ended in hands with five digits, one of which was an opposing thumb, and their lower limbs ended in large feet.[4] The LepiJaxxon described himself as a "two-meter bunny."[6]

It was normal for Lepi to have many children.[5] According to Jaxxon, his living family members numbered in the hundreds, with him being unable to keep count of the precise number.[2]

A number of Lepi were the leaders of theCoachelle Automata corporation.[7] Another Lepi was theracerThrar, who representedCoachelle Prime in theforty-eighth annualDragonfire Air Rally.[8] Another was thesmuggler Jaxxon,[6] who worked at least twice for theAlliance to Restore the Republic during theGalactic Civil War.[4][2] He had hundreds of living family members which included his cousinsReegor,Peeta,Arvi,Benji, andMaxx.[2]

Years earlier, during thewaning days of theGalactic Republic, theJediObi-Wan Kenobi andAnakin Skywalker once encountered adisgruntled Lepi on thespace station known asthe Wheel who informed them on the whereabouts ofGrynask Sanberge.[1] A Lepi was present inTakodana Castle onTakodanathirtyyears after theBattle of Endor.[9]

The Lepi first appeared inStar Warscanon inthe third issue ofThe Force Awakens Adaptation written byChuck Wendig and illustrated byMarc Laming. They were originally created for theStar Wars LegendsStar Wars (1977) 8, a1977 comic written byRoy Thomas and illustrated byHoward Chaykin.[10]
