Klatooinian(language)

Klatooinian language was once the native language of theKlatooinians, the native people ofKlatooine. By the latter days of theGalactic Republic, it was a dead language.^[1]

After the beginning of Klatooinian servitude toHutts circa25,100 BBY, the Klatooinian language was increasingly forgotten. In a few years, Klatooinians began to speak onlyHuttese, and most of them were illiterate. The Klatooinian language only existed in ancient texts, and was known mostly by (non-Klatooinian) scholars. This was an anomaly in Klatooinian culture, which was otherwise highly concerned with preserving its ancient traditions.^[1]
