Kessurians were ahumanoidsentientspecies. They had typicallyred skin, elongated and pointedears, and hornlikemontrals above their ears. Theirhair was typically brown. They also had rounded nubs above their eyes and below their montrals. The skin on their ears, montrals, cheeks and foreheads was mottled with lighter spots than the rest of their skin. Kessurians had fourlimbs, two arms and two legs, and five-fingered hands.[1] The species had at least twosexes: male[2] and female.[1] Male Kessurians could grow facial hair.[2] Some members of the species possessedForce sensitivity.[5][2]

Originating from theKessur system,[3] Kessurian society functioned as amonarchy, with the second-in-line to the throne being given the title ofthilas.[1]
