Many clone commandos wore blank white armor during the Imperial Era

Katarn-class commando armor was used byclone commandos throughout theClone Wars[9] and into theImperial Era.[6] The members ofClone Force 99 wore modifiedKatarn-class armor.[5]

During the Imperial Era,[6] much like how most standard clone troopers were required to return their armor to a blank white state,[10] many clone commandos returned their armor to its default white appearance.[6] However, there were some exceptions to this;Clone CommanderScorch was allowed to retain his colors, and the commandos of theImperial royal guard had their armor decorated with grey markings.[11]
