TheImperial Sourcebook, byGreg Gorden, was aWest End Games supplement for their version of theStar Wars Roleplaying Game. It discussed the organization of theGalactic Empire in the aftermath of theBattle of Yavin. This, the second edition, was released inJune1994, following the release of the sourcebook'sfirst edition inOctober1989. It was designed to be an in-universe report on the Empire compiled forMon Mothma byArhul Hextrophon.

TheImperial Sourcebook "is set in that turbulenttime that begins with the destruction of thefirst Death Star" and "looks at the might of the Empire afterStar Wars IV: A New Hope."
