Hap Daniel was the owner of theYKL-37R Nova CourierlightfreighterLord's Mistress. According to thestation master of theDantooine Space Station, he was "a real vengeful cuss."

In1 ABY,[1] Daniel's freighterLord's Mistress was boarded by aspacer in theTatooine system, and its load ofCorellian brandy was stolen.[4] When Daniel learned of the theft, he tried to take his revenge on the spacer. He managed to track him to theDantooine system and intercepted the ship when it returned to the Dantooine Space Station to deliver the brandy. When the station master realized that Daniel would find out about his involvement in the theft, he ordered the spacer to eliminate him. It came to a dogfight between the spacer and Daniel in hisIxiyen-class fast attack craft that ended when Daniel's ship was shot down.[2]
