TheForbidden Forms were forms oflightsaber combat used by theSith during theSith Wars. According to the testimonies of theJediCervil the Uncanny,lightwhips—alightsaber variant with a flexible blade—were used to defend againstSith Lords who utilized the forms.[1] In232 BBY,[2] during theHigh Republic Era,Jedi KnightVernestra Rwoh, while stranded on thejunglemoonWevo, brought up Cervil the Uncanny's testimonies about the Forbidden Forms toPadawanImri Cantaros in response to his concerns about the modifications she had made to herlightsaber to give it a lightwhip mode.[1]
