Flash pumping
Flash pumping orflash-pumping, also calledflash-teaching orflash-learning was a technique developed bySpaarti Creations and later adopted byArkanian Microtechnologies that, unlike theKaminoanflash training, which relied heavily onholographic simulations, was "pumping" huge amount of knowledge and memories directly into the brain of the clone late in the cloning process.[1] This was made possible bySpaarti cloning cylinders' computer processing system that was connected directly to the cerebral cortex of developing clone.[2]
History[]
In the late period of theClone Wars, theGalactic RepublicMilitary deployed millions of additional clonetroopers, fully grown in a year byArkanian Microtechnologies onCentax-2 with the use ofSpaarti technology. Due to the new clones' extremely fast growth cycle, flash pumping was used instead of regularflash training[1] and it composed the whole of their basic training. In combat, theArkanian clones displayed poor marksmanship and a lack of strategy,[3] effectively making them subparsoldiers in comparison to theirKaminoan-bred counterparts.[4]
Theremnants of the oldGalactic Empire also utilized flash pumping for theirclone stormtroopers, such asGrand AdmiralThrawn's clonearmy.[5]
