Meddling Imperial Advisor[]
- "Do you have any particular preparation instructions you would like me to follow?"
"I am looking for something discreet, as always." - ―Master Chef Tavvar Va'ran and Guri[1]

During the Galactic Civil War, Fendrilon Koozar served Emperor Palpatine (pictured).
Fendrilon Koozar was anImperial Advisor who servedEmperorPalpatine during theGalactic Civil War. Koozar developed an alarming habit of meddling in business where he was not welcome,[2] including the operations of theBlack Sun crime syndicate.[3] He regularly enjoyed the high cuisine of theManarairestaurant,[2] the most exclusive dining venue inImperial City on theplanetCoruscant,[4] where Black SunleaderPrinceXizor secretly arranged Koozar's murder[3] in3.5 ABY.[1]
Xizor's chieflieutenant,[4]Guri, visited the Manarai and instructed the restaurant'sMaster Chef,Tavvar Va'ran, to give Koozar the "house special," a code for adding a combination of naturalfood seasonings and nearly untraceable chemicals into a victim's dishes throughout the meal. Thispoisoned recipe would work in conjunction with the natural oils andspices found within the meal, as well as Koozar's ownHuman digestive system, to cause certain unpleasant effects severalhours later, which often resulted in a painfuldeath.[2]
A very special meal[]
- "Perhaps a recipe to induce hallucinatory effects later on—something that might prompt him to open his speeder door and leap out, or jump from his tower balcony."
"It will be done according to your orders." - ―Guri and Tavvar Va'ran[1]
Koozar's meal thatnight included an appetizer of rawWroonian flycatcher filet, followed by a bowl ofsufar greens topped withmecolar briddlings anddrezzle sauce, andfleek-eel broiled inzaffa oil for the main course; he had not yet ordered dessert. To satisfy Guri's desire for discreetness—she suggested something that might induce hallucinations and cause Koozar to step out of his movingspeeder or jump off his tower balcony—Va'ran added a dose of tastelessthetametabuterin to Koozar's flycatcher filet, a hybrid mold on the greens briddlings, and somecollafa spice in the zaffaoil.[2]
The MasterChef's culinary work had the desired effect. The evening after Koozar's dinner at the Manarai, Va'ran saw on thenewsnets that theImperialAdvisor had thrown an uncontrollable fit while in his luxury airspeeder, wresting away the controls from hisdroid pilot and crashing the speeder into theMinistry of Land Management. Koozar died in thefiery explosion that followed.[2]
Personality and traits[]
