TheMillennium Falcon's docking ring.
Adocking ring was a sealed circular hatch with external magnetic couplings that allowed a medium-sizedstarship to dock to a largercapital ship or aspace station. It could also be used to dock with atransparisteel gantry. TheMillennium Falcon had two docking rings, situated respectively on the port and starboard sides of the ship.[1]
