Company

Acompany was a groundinfantry unit. In theGrand Army of theGalactic Republic, eachregiment consisted of sixteen companies of 144clone troopers led by their respectiveClone Captains, with each divided into fourplatoons.^[1] In theStormtrooper Corps, a company consisted of four platoons, giving one a total of 200stormtroopers. Abattalion consisted of four Imperial companies.^[2]

CloneCaptainRex commanded the501st Legion'sTorrent Company and332nd Company during theClone Wars. Other GrandArmy companies included the212th Attack Battalion'sGhost Company,^[3] the41st Elite Corps'Green Company,^[4] andTango Company.^[5]

TheAlliance Army also used companies asinfantry units, such asTwilight Company, though their numbers were less standardized.^[6]
