Oversee acorps-level formation ofclone troopers[1]
Clone Marshal Commander, or simplyMarshal Commander, was the highestmilitary rank that aclone trooper commander could hold within theGalactic Republic'sGrand Army. As eliteofficers, Clone Marshal Commanders were entrusted with leadingcorps-level formations ofclone troopers, the largest military formation that could be led by aclonetrooper, and liaised directly with their assignedJedi General. During theClone Wars against theConfederacy of Independent Systems, the Grand Army of the Republic had eighty Clone Marshal Commanders, each overseeing one of thearmy's eighty corps.[2]

Within thehierarchical structure of the Grand Army of the Republic, Marshal Commanders were subordinate toSenior Jedi Generals, whileSenior Clone Commanders were subordinate to Clone Marshal Commanders.[2] Notable Clone Marshal Commanders included Marshal CommanderBacara of the21st Nova Corps,[3] Marshal CommanderBly of the327th Star Corps,[1] Marshal CommanderCody of the7th Sky Corps,[4] and Marshal CommanderNeyo of the91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corps.[5]
