Christian Gossett, credited asChris Gossett within his work onStar Wars, is an artist that has worked for a number of companies, includingLucasfilm,Dark Horse Comics, andActivision. Within theStar Wars community he is well known for his work on several story arcs of theTales of the Jedi saga, and for his artwork which appeared in severalStar Wars Adventure Journals.

In1993 Chris Gossett was contracted byLucasfilm, along with other artists, to provide the artwork for the first line ofTales of the Jedi comics. Following this, Gossett was again contracted to work on the fourthTales of the Jedi story arc, entitledStar Wars: Tales of the Jedi - Dark Lords of the Sith, in which he would create the artwork used in the first five comics of that arc. Likewise, Gossett worked in conjunction with authorKevin J. Anderson onStar Wars: Tales of the Jedi - Redemption, in which the character ofUlic Qel-Droma was redeemed for his actions in theGreat Sith War.
In conjunction with his work onTales of the Jedi, Gossett also illustrated a number of articles in theStar Wars Adventure Journal, and was interviewed, along withTom Veitch andDan Thorsland, in theAdventure Journal articleMaking Star Wars Comics Come Alive which was featured inStar Wars Adventure Journal 2. Later, select pieces of his work were showcased inThe Best of the Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issues 1-4, where Gossett was selected as to be a featured artist.
During the early years of his career, Gossett kept in touch with other Star Wars fans through discussions on theFidoNet Star Wars Echo.
