Biography[]

Charles Soule authored theStar Wars: Lando andStar Wars: Obi-Wan and Anakin miniseries forMarvel Comics before later writing for theStar Wars: Poe Dameron series, theStar Wars: Darth Vader (2017) series, and theStar Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren miniseries. He is currently writing Marvel's mainlineStar Wars run set afterStar Wars:Episode VThe Empire Strikes Back.

His story "Red Four" was included inMarvel Comics #1000, a comic issue released to celebrate Marvel Comics' eightieth anniversary.^[3]

He is currently working onStar Wars: The High Republic withCavan Scott,Claudia Gray,Daniel José Older, andJustina Ireland. As part ofThe High Republic, Soule wrote his firstStar Warsnovel, which launched the multimedia publishing campaign.The High Republic: Light of the Jedi was published in January 2021.^[4] He then concluded the first phase of The High Republic initiative as the writer for the 2-part comic mini seriesThe High Republic: Eye of the Storm, published from January to March of2022.^[5][6]

It was revealed onApril 27, 2022, during aTwitter exchange, that Soule's relationship withLucasfilm andStar Wars narrative reached a new level, as he was now a Creative Consultant for the company.^[7]
