Achairman,[1] also known as achairperson,[6] was an individual who presided over an assembly.[1]San Hill was the chairman of theInterGalactic Banking Clan during theClone Wars.[4] ThePantoran Assembly, the council ofelected officials that ruled overPantora, was headed by aSupreme Chairman. In the lastdecades of theGalactic Republic, the role of Supreme Chairman of thePantoran Assembly was filled byChi Cho, until hedied[1] and was replaced byBaronNotluwiski Papanoida.[7]
In the closing stages of the Clone Wars,Supreme ChancellorPalpatine informedJedi GeneralAnakin Skywalker thatSeparatist AllianceleaderGeneralGrievous was on theplanetUtapau, citing a partial message in a diplomatic package from the Chairman of Utapau, which Skywalker relayed to theJedi High Council.[8]Pitina Voor served as Chair of theGalactic Empire'sCoalition for Progress during theGalactic Civil War.[2]
