History[]
Prior to25,150 BBY, Cadinth was the capital world of one of the ancient Tion Cluster states: theKingdom of Cadinth. Cadinth later allied with the Kingdoms ofJaminere andBarseg, creating theThree Allied Kingdoms.Pirate KingXer VIII waged a campaign against the kingdoms between 25,150 BBY and25,130 BBY, defeating the Kingdom of Cadinth at theBattle of Cadinth. Cadinth and the Three Allied Kingdoms worlds were conquered and absorbed intoXer's Empire, and laterXim's empire. Thus it became the Third Throne world of Xim.[2]
After the collapse of the empire in25,100 BBY, the world joined the ancientKingdom of Cron. After theTionese War, Cadinth and the entire Tion Cluster joined theGalactic Republic. In the Republic's final years, theTion Cluster worlds joined theCIS, and were later subjugated by theGalactic Empire.[2]
TheCadinth Oligarchy decided that the planet would remain "firmly undecided" between theSeparatists and theRepublic. Cadinth was later the site of theBattle of Cadinth in6 ABY.
