Raid on Arbra's main settlement[6]

"I've heard of this trader… aNimbanel… operating in the Bon'nyuw-Luq sector."
Han Solo, onBralem Mopak[5]

TheBon'nyuw-Luq sector was asector situated within theOuter Rim Territories. It contained theplanetArbra, thehomeworld of theHoojibspecies, as well as theSharlissia system. During theHigh Republic Era, in228 BBY, the Bon'nyuw-Luq sector partially fell within theNihilmarauders'Occlusion Zone territory after theexpansion of itsStormwall barrier.

Description[]

"This is our destination, a small planet largely covered in woodland."
―Counselor Fry, regarding Arbra[6]

The Bon'nyuw-Luqsector was situated in theOuter Rim Territories[1] andTrailing Sectors regions.[3] It bordered theGaris,Grumani,Mayagil,[2]Sanbra,[1]Tamarin, andToblain sectors.[2] The Bon'nyuw-Luq sector was the location of theCrait system, containing the remotemineralplanetCrait.[9] The sector also containedArbra,[1] a smallwoodland planet, thetrees of which were inhabited bybirds.[6] TheSharlissia system was located on the borders of the Bon'nyuw-Luq and Toblain sectors.[2]

During theHigh Republic Era, Arbra was inhabited.[6] By231 BBY,[10] the planet'smain settlement was the target of araid by theNihilmarauders that resulted with most of its buildingsburning down. Not long after the raid,[6] in thatyear,[10] theGalactic Republiccorrectional vesselRestitution visited Arbra in order for itsprisoner workforce to assist in the relief efforts. Several work parties—includingone under the supervision ofCounselorsFry andJon Wittick that included the incognito former NihilTempest RunnerLourna Dee—landed on Arbra inshuttles, meeting withAdministratorLalutin.[6]

The prisoners were scheduled to work over the course of fivedays; however, while on Arbra, Lalutin—previously injured by Dee when the two attendedCarida Academy—sought to reveal her true identity. Lalutin waskilled by Dee's fellow prisonerTasia, working alongside former Tempest RunnerPan Eyta Eyta, who also desired revenge against Dee. In the chaos caused byEyta's crew, eight prisoners were killed and three escaped, while Eyta himself disappeared after being supposedly defeated by Dee. As a result of the incident, theRestitution departed Arbra for its next stop.[6]

In228 BBY,[11] the Nihilexpanded theirOcclusion Zone territory in response to a failedassault by the Republic on itsStormwall barrier. Following the expansion, the edge of the Occlusion Zone bisected the Bon'nyuw-Luq sector, a portion of which was thus trapped behind the Stormwall.[2]

Inhabitants[]

"Ah, sweet Arbra. It's good to be home."
"Yeah… it's just a pity about yourneighbors."
―The HoojibPlif andHan Solo[5]

The world Arbra in the Bon'nyuw-Luq sector washome to theHoojibs, asentientspecies of smallfurred beings that possessedtelepathic abilities. The Hoojibsfed on power sources, feasting onenergy crystals in their planet'scaves.[5]
