The battle[]
The Thunderstrike sent drop ships with strike teams to the gas giants dockyards. The dockyards lacked a dedicatedStormtrooper garrison and had to rely onImperial Navy troopers. They were unprepared for the rebel attack and were quickly overwhelmed. The dockyards burned and almost a hundred Imperial luxury transports and light freighters had been destroyed.[1]
Aftermath[]
The Company retreated into hyperspace and the troops celebrated. No soldiers had been lost, but several troopers had been injured and exhaustion had taken a toll. This would affect the Company in the next battle. The transports had been produced onCorellia and stored on Mardona III. These transports were for high ranking Imperial officers on theImperial Ruling Council. The loss of these would force Corellia to produce more and detract supplies from Kuat.[1]
