Altar of Evil

Altar of Evil

General information

"Hm... silly title for a place emitting an unnatural evil. I approached the monument quietly, having seen the glimmer of a dark figure in the distance. A lone man, silhouetted by the birth of night, stood quietly, staring at the altar for quite some time."
―Excerpt fromTinrilo x'Rilsam's log[2]

TheAltar of Evil was the name given by theexplorerTinrilo x'Rilsam to an ancient shrine located on theplanetNaboo. The Altar had been built at the site of avergence in thedark side of the Force. Anybody visiting the place could feel its unnatural evil upon approaching the altar.[2] The shrine was made of one large stone surrounded by three statues and decorated by one skull above an inscription inAurebesh. During theGalactic Civil War, aLesser Prophetof the Dark Side spent most of his time meditating at the Altar of Evil.[1] By the time of theBattle of Yavin, Tinrilo x'Rilsam discovered the altar while exploring Naboo. However, the explorer afraid by the evil presence of the Altar and by the dark prophet decided to not push his exploration forward.[2]
