TheAJ^6 cyborg construct, also known asLobot-Tech headgear, was acybernetic device attached onto the backside of a user's head, designed to increase the user's productivity. However, it would often erase their personality and occasionally cause their behavior to become erratic.[2]

TheGalactic Republic used the construct. It was worn by the formerARC trooperEcho, after he was turned into acyborg by theTechno Union.[13] TheGalactic Empire also used the construct. It was worn by theRodianTseebo of theImperial Information Office, who utilized the technology to stealImperial data,[4] and battlefield analystLobot.

However, Lobot eventually abandoned the Empire and became the business partner ofLandonis Balthazar Calrissian.[6] The Imperialcontroller designatedLT-319 also wore the headset.[14]Vice ChairmanAnolo had hisGivin codebreaker implanted with the technology.[15] The technology was used onCloud City by Lobot, who served as the aide ofBaron Administrator Calrissian.[7] TheFirst Order used a cyborg construct onTerex to ensure his loyalty to their cause.[12]
