TheMatukai were an organization ofForceadepts who used the physical body to channel the Force. They were established in the days of theGalactic Republic, years before theOld Sith Wars, and records compiled by theGalactic Alliance indicated that the Matukai were founded by aHumanfemale fromKarvoss II who discovered hersensitivity to the Force while practicing a meditative form of martial arts.
