On February 15, 2013, it was reported that rapper Tim Dog, born Timothy Blair, had died following a struggle with diabetes and a seizure. But then, a womanclaimed that he'd faked his own death to avoid paying off debts. Anarrest warrant was issued, furthering suspicion that Blair was still alive.

Today,"Dateline NBC" shared their investigative report, which confirms that Blair died on February 14, 2013.

"Dateline" obtained hisdeath certificate from the Dekalb County GA Board of Health, which revealed that Blair died while in the care of Hospice Atlanta.

Tim Dog, who was known best for his song "Fuck Compton", was busted in 2011 for a financial scheme in which he defrauded women he met on online dating sites. Esther Pilgrim was one of the victims; Blair had been required to pay her back at a rate of $100 per month. When the repayments stopped coming, Pilgrim began investigating his death.
