100 years after the end of the First World War, the Oxford DNB presents the life stories of men and women who shaped the conflict and its aftermath.
The latest update, curated by Dr Judith Bourne of St Mary’s University, Twickenham, adds the lives of 17 women involved in the movement to admit women to the legal profession.
