s390x Port Project

The goal of this Project is to integrate SAP's full-featured andcertifiable Linux/s390x port of the OpenJDK into the main OpenJDKdevelopment branch.

The project will initially be driven by SAP who has along-standing experience in developing and porting JDKs to variousplatforms including Linux/s390x. SAP has proven its ability tointegrate and continuously support new OpenJDK ports likeLinux/PowerPC and AIX/PowerPC within thePowerPC/AIX PortProject. But as this is an open source project, of courseanybody interested is highly welcome to join the porting effort.The complete development process and discussions will happen in theopen on the project mailing list.
