Over the weekend@momomilkbar tweeted, "order online, pick up in brooklyn, and visit us in our new kitchen!" Whichmeans, the big garage-likeMomofuku Milk Bar Brooklyn Commissary is now open to the public, and Williamsburg residents can experience Christina Tosi's crack pies and apple cakes without crossing the river.
There's a catch of course. For now, they are mostly catering to pick up orders, so coming in for a single cookie or a meat filled croissant is not a viable option (though Tosi tells Eater they'll have some broken cookies for visitors to munch on while they wait). That said, they will be offering whole pies, cakes and assorted dozens for sale on the fly. No cash register at the moment, so bring a credit card.
