comprising 331^45 acres of pastoral
leases, and carrrinr 2.600 sheen in the
woof, other stock and jriant, was offered
for. sale by auction- by Dalgety and Coi,
Ltd., at the Wool Exchange, Perth, last
Monday, but there was a very smali at
tendance, and no bid- was- 'received.' The
property, is gibu4c4 at the. head of the
Ord Creek, on the Wltaa-road, 34 oniles
north-east of Meekatharra, and'- the
owners are dissolving partnership. ~
Pastoral properties have not been in
dtetnand recently. The chief cause 5s said
to be financial stringency brought about
by the Commonwealth loan of £66,000,
OOO^ which Trill take a tot o£' money lout
of oirctriation. Another reason given -is
that the wool position is not clear,' air
though some people tfiinlc that it will firm
towards the end of the year. ,
