Youth team coach Simon Davies has been placed in temporary charge for Tuesday's game with Darlington. Saturday's 1-0 defeat at league leaders Milton Keynes Dons left Chester in 17th place, 10 points above the drop zone. Former Hibernian boss Williamson had taken charge at the Deva Stadium in May 2007, succeeding Mark Wright. | 606: DEBATE | Recently, Chester had reshuffled their backroom staff, with Jimmy Bone leaving the club after a short spell as assistant manager. He was replaced by Steve Mungall, who was one of five men to manage City during their 2001/02 season in the Conference.
