Breer writes a pretty rough profile of Sanders’ current prospects, reporting he doesn’t believe Sanders is going in the top three and that it’d be “surprising” if he went in the top 10. “I’m having a really hard time finding coaches or scouts who believe Sanders is a first-round talent,” is the lede of that section of the column. The draft landscape is always shifting and we’ve seen perceived first-round quarterbacks like Will Levis and Malik Willis tumble out of Day 1 — it’s possible that Sanders will be the next to join that list.

Considered one of the top backs in this year’s class, Hampton could sneak into the late first round if a team desperate enough for a top back opts to take a shot on the UNC product. Hampton produces a three-down skillset and blew away scouts and coaches with his impressive combine performance as a six-foot, 221-pound back. Last season, Hampton rushed for 281-1,660-15 while adding another 38-373-2 through the air and closed out his career with back-to-back 1,500-yard rushing seasons. According to Schultz, Hampton has also met with the Cowboys and Steelers. He could immediately fill the role as the Bears’ RB1 in Ben Johnson’s offense, which could prove detrimental to D’Andre Swift’s fantasy value in 2025.

It’s a sign of good faith by Parsons, who is entering the final year of his deal but hopes to sign a lucrative extension with the Cowboys before the start of the season. The star pass rusher totaled 43 tackles and 12 sacks last season while being limited to just 13 games due to injury. Arguably the best pass rusher in the league, Parsons will likely land a record-setting deal whenever he does sign an extension.

Per Adam Schefter, Carter has already met with the Titans, Browns, and Giants but turned down all other top-30 visits with teams picking outside of the top four picks. The Penn State pass rusher is viewed as the No. 1 pass rusher in the draft and is coming off a season in which he totaled 12 sacks and also led the nation with 24 TFLs. The Patriots already have their quarterback situation figured out with Drake Maye in tow, but would benefit from adding a premiere pass rusher after ranking dead last as a team in sacks with 28. Carter would hopefully provide them an immediate pass-rushing threat for the next decade as the Patriots look to turn a corner following three-straight losing seasons.

Per McCormick, the Titans’ 18-minute talk with Ward at the NFL Scouting Combine proved to be “the big turning point” in the Titans’ evaluation process. The discussion prompted Titans brass to schedule Ward’s top-30 visit, in which Ward reportedly “wowed” attendees with his “alpha personality, astute knowledge of the game and his detailed understanding of the QB position.” The team then sent an “arsenal” of coaches, evaluators and media members to Ward’s Pro Day, which was followed days later by a private workout attended by “reclusive” owner Amy Adams Strunk. Ward is on track to be drafted No. 1 overall and seemingly having won the entire Titans organization over during the pre-draft process.

On Saturday, Prescott declared that if he “had to play a game today, [he] definitely could,” now four months removed from hamstring surgery. Monday’s workouts should provide clarity as to the comment’s veracity. New head coach Brian Schottenheimer could have begun voluntary workouts last week, an opportunity shared by all first-year head coaches, but Schotty instead chose to delay the process. Doing so, perhaps, to provide his quarterback with an extra week of prep time—or, maybe, it was to give the front office one last chance to sign Micah Parsons to a record-setting megadeal before team activities begin. McMillan is one of the top receivers in this year’s draft and will have visits with three teams in need of wide receiver help. After failing to improve its receiver room last season, the Patriots could lean on McMillan as Drake Maye’s new WR1, while the Arizona product would also provide a boost to the Cowboys’ and Saints’ receiver rooms playing opposite CeeDee Lamb or Chris Olave. McMillan also has a previously reported visit scheduled with the Panthers, which was reported late last month. McMillan caught 84 passes for 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns last season on his way to earning First-Team All-American honors.

The Saints listed the right-armed Carr with a left-hand injury late in Weeks 15-18 but made no mention of a throwing-shoulder issue. There seems to be more to this story. Carr has not yet decided whether he will undergo surgery but, regardless, it seems clear that the Saints must select a quarterback early in the 2025 NFL Draft at this point.

Flacco will get a chance to earn “up to” $13 million this year with incentives. Entering his age-40 season, Flacco probably is more of a fallback than an actual plan for the Browns at this point. He started six games for the Colts last year and finished with 1761 yards, 12 touchdowns, and seven interceptions while completing 65.3 percent of his passes. Flacco might have enough in the tank — especially back in Kevin Stefanski’s offense — to beat out Kenny Pickett in training camp if the Browns exit the draft without adding another veteran or highly-drafted rookie.

Carter had his medical recheck in Indianapolis on Thursday after a stress reaction in his right foot was discovered during the NFL Scouting Combine in February. “It should be a non-factor with the teams at this point,” agent Drew Rosenhaus said. Carter is expected to arrive in New Jersey on Thursday evening where he will have dinner with the Giants, before his top-30 visit with the team on Friday, per the MMQB’s Albert Breer.
