The Danish Final was held on February 12th at Forum Horsens, hosted byJarl Friis-Mikkelsen, Birthe Kjær & Annette Heick. The winner waschosen in two rounds of televoting - the first to select the top 5 and thesecond to select the winner.
Jakob Sveistrup came equal 9th at the ESC. Amongst his backing singerswas Kenny Lübcke who represented Denmark in ESC 1992. BrødreneOlsen won the 2000 ESC. Amongst their backing singers was Kayo who representedSweden in ESC 2002 as a member of Afro-Dite.
