This documentation contains detailed technical documents forthe Open Document Format (ODF) and Open XML (ECMA-376 and ISO/IEC-29500) file formatsimplemented in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
In addition to this documentation, you may also beinterested in theOpen XML SDK.The SDK is an open-source project on GitHub, and provides tools for workingwith Office documents. It supports high-performance generation and manipulationof word-processing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, includingadding, updating, and removing content and metadata.

The preview period for a technical document varies.Additionally, not every technical document will be published for preview.
After the preview period, the technical document ispublished to the appropriate location in theOpen SpecificationsLibrary.
