Note: With effect from 4th November, 2024, in enforcing Chapter III of the Video Conferencing Rules dated 30th September, 2020 of the High Court of Meghalaya, all stakeholders are reminded that the Schedule II request form is to be filled up and submitted specifying the reason for video conferencing as required under Sl. No. 7 thereof before 02:00 PM of the day preceding the date for listing of a proceeding with the Joint Registrar (Listing). Only upon receipt of this form properly filled up shall the Court through the Joint Registrar (Listing) grant permission to a party seeking video conferencing. To be entertained , such reasons must relate to advance age of learned counsel, health issue of learned counsel , significant inconvenience caused in physical appearance because of frequent adjournments, short hearings and thereafter adjournments, parallel commitments of learned counsel in another Court and so on.
