Thankfully, two years have passed since I started this blog "iGot". Recently, due to be hectic, I can hardly post new articles on iGot. I guess the articles will be posted irregularly from now on but hope you will support and enjoy my blog.

To memorialise the 2nd anniversary, I created two hours' djmix recently. First of all, I will release the first half of the mix.
I was a bit conscious of UK's hit charts and the recent music trend in this mix. Hope everybody will enjoy listening to this one. One of these days, I will post the another half of the mix.

おかげさまで、当ブログ「iGot」は、2周年を迎えることができました。
最近では多忙のために、なかなか更新することができず、今後も不定期での更新が中心となっていくかと思いますが、これからも宜しくお願いいたします。

さて、この2周年記念のために、2時間のロングミックスを制作しました。本日は、その前半1時間分を公開します。このミックスでは、最近の流行や、イギリスのヒットチャートを多少意識してつくりましたので、幅広い方に楽しんでもらえるかと思います。もう一つのミックスも、明日か明後日にはアップする予定です。

It's good stuff. DJLUK has released the mash-up mixed a stunning tune last year "Yeah Yeah" by Bodyrox with Run-DMC and Jason Nevins. This one is good for DJs.


DJLUKによる良作マッシュアップ。昨年流行ったBodyroxの「Yeah Yeah」に、Run DMC と Jason Nevinsをブレンドしたもの。フロア向けで、DJが重宝しそうな作品です。

This video mash-up by BRAT Productions, using the Mint Royale's remix recorded "Ocean's 13 deluxe soundtrack". Originally, BRAT was requested by Warner Brothers to create this video to promote the Mint Royale Remix but it was cancelled due to delay. This means the video is put on the shelf. But that's interesting that he mixed Frank Sinatra's naked motion (not video clips).

BRAT Productionsによって作られたこのビデオ・マッシュアップは、"Ocean's 13 deluxe soundtrack"に収録されている"This Town (Mint Royale Remix Edit)"を映像化したもの。もともと、ワーナーから彼の元に正式にビデオ・クリップとしての依頼が来ていたそうですが、制作の遅れを理由にお蔵入りとなったらしいです。このビデオは、ビデオクリップではなく、シナトラの生の演技をそのままミックスしたところが、見所でしょうか。

Mint Royaleによるオリジナル曲はiTune経由で購入することができます。

This is Dunproofin's interesting stuff. He mixed DJ Dan's "Needle Damage (Chris Ortega and Thomas Gold remix)" with The Whip's "Divebomb". Interestingly, he provided two different BPM versions of this mash-up; one is 110 BPM and another is 130 BPM. He currently seems to prefer 110 BPM ver. and I also prefer that one.


イギリスのDunproofinによる新しい試みのマッシュアップ。DJ Dan の "Needle Damage (Chris Ortega and Thomas Gold remix)" に、じわじわと人気の出始めてきている The Whipの"Divebomb"をブレンド。面白いことに、彼自身が同じマッシュアップで、BPM 110と130の２つのバージョンを制作していること。彼自身は110の方が好きとのことですが、確かにそちらの方が上手くハマッているような気がします。

This mash-up video made by mistah pok is really interesting. The video mixed Daft Punk's video clip "Digital Love" illustlated by Japanese famous cartoonist Leiji Matsumoto with the 80's hit tune "Video Killed the Radio Star" by the Buggles. It really matches with both tunes, images and atmosphere. I like this one.


mistah pok氏によって制作された、なかなか興味深いビデオ・マッシュアップ。松本零士が手掛けたことでも話題となったダフトパンクのビデオクリップに、80年代を代表するヒット曲、バグルスの"Video Killed the Radio Star"をミックス。曲と映像もですが、何よりその世界観が微妙なまでに上手くミックスされているような気がして、個人的には好きな作品です。

This is a stunning mash-up. DJ Gaston made the ace stuff which blended the famous vocal "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da" by the Beatles with Fatboy's beginning tune "Sho Nuff". This superb mix is an excellent conbination between them. His other mash-ups are also quite good.


久しぶりに見つけた良質マッシュアップ。DJ Gastonによるビートルズの「Ob-la-di Ob-la-da」に、ファットボーイの初期トラック「Sho Nuff」のグッド・ブレンド。オブラディ〜の雰囲気・世界観が、ファットボーイのこの曲と絶妙なまでにマッチしています。その他、彼のホームページには他の作品も試聴・ダウンロードができるようになっており、どれも質の高いものばかりです。

This stuff mixed The Chemical Brothers' latest tune "Do It Again" with Gwen's "Yummy" by Mr. Brightside, comes from Belgium. In my opinion, it should have done more creative but you all worth grabbing this one in terms of enjoying a new chemical beat.


ケミカルブラザーズの最新シングル「Do It Again」に、Gwen Stefaniの「Yummy」をブレンドした、ベルギーのMr. Brightsideによる作品。個人的にはもう一ひねり欲しいところですが、ケミカルネタの最新マッシュアップということで、一度聴く価値はあるかと思います。
