       PR_SET_TSC - change whether the timestamp counter can be read by       the process

DESCRIPTION        top

       Set the state of the flag determining whether the timestamp       counter can be read by the process.  PassPR_TSC_ENABLEtoflag to       allow it to be read, orPR_TSC_SIGSEGVto generate aSIGSEGVwhen       the process tries to read the timestamp counter.

RETURN VALUE        top

       On success, 0 is returned.  On error, -1 is returned, anderrno is       set to indicate the error.

ERRORS        top

EINVALarg2 is not a valid value.

STANDARDS        top

       Linux.  x86 only.
