       PR_SET_TIMING - set the process timing mode

DESCRIPTION top

       Set whether to use (normal, traditional) statistical process       timing or accurate timestamp-based process timing, by passingPR_TIMING_STATISTICALorPR_TIMING_TIMESTAMPtomode.

RETURN VALUE top

       On success, 0 is returned.  On error, -1 is returned, anderrno is       set to indicate the error.

ERRORS top

EINVALmode is notPR_TIMING_STATISTICAL.

STANDARDS top

       Linux.

HISTORY top

       Linux 2.6.0.

CAVEATS top

PR_TIMING_TIMESTAMPis not currently implemented (attempting to       set this mode will yield the errorEINVAL).
